Rick Turner Promoted to Director of New Product Development for Midmark

Midmark Corporation has named Rick Turner to the position of director, new product development for its medical division. In his new role, Turner will oversee the entire medical division’s new product research and development effort toward customer-centric innovation. Turner will report directly to Joe Rothstein, VP and general manager of Midmark’s medical division.

He brings a wealth of experience to his new role that includes many years of engineering and design as well as leadership in the development of new products," said Rothstein. "By having Rick in this central position, it will allow Midmark to continue developing products that improve efficiency for physicians and their patients."
Turner joined Midmark in 1974 as a member of the medical product design group. In 1984, he was promoted to engineering manager, then to new product development team leader. Over recent years, he directed the teams that developed Midmark’s Barrier-Free® exam tables, the redesign of the Ritter 204 and Midmark 604 examination tables, and most recently, the track light monitor for its dental division.
He is a graduate of the Bowling Green State University where he received a B.S. in industrial technology. Turner lives in Celina with his wife Bobbi. They have three children: Adam, Bridget and Kristen.
