Midmark Medical Continues Implementation of its Sales Modernization Process

Providing single point of contact to better align sales force with customers

DAYTON, Ohio, Dec. 8, 2016 — Midmark today announced the continued modernization of its medical sales force to better align with its customers and how they wish to transact business. Effective Jan. 1, 2017, the new sales structure will include eight regions led by a regional director who will be responsible for the entire Midmark portfolio for that region. In many instances, the Midmark territory portfolio manager, single point of contact, will be working in a tighter geographical area, allowing greater focus on our customer and distributor partner relations. Enterprise specialists with a focus on planning and design and integrated diagnostic devices will also report to the regional director and work closely with the territories, enhancing workflows that will result in better value for Midmark customers.

Vice President of Sales, Medical Division Matt Bourne stated, “As our products and services portfolio becomes more sophisticated based on the innovation we continue to develop, the idea of providing a single point of contact for our end-user customers and distribution partners allows for a more efficient and productive process. We will support the intricacies of our portfolio as well as the delivery and implementation of our solutions through regional subject matter specialists while remaining very much aligned with the Midmark strategic account executive team. These teammates will be working primarily at the enterprise level.”

The sales modernization process has continued to evolve based on the structure that went into effect two years ago to better position Midmark’s complete product and services solution. The structure supports a collaborative team selling environment that maintains focus on value creation for Midmark’s healthcare system customers.
