The small, yet growing community of Versailles, holds the motto "People-Pride-Progress",
and Midmark is pleased to be a part of this diverse local economy. The village, founded in
1819, is named after the town of Versailles in France. Today, twenty-five percent of Versailles
residents are of French ancestry. Versailles is now the focus of outstanding bronze sculptures
and has taken the title, "The Sculptural Village". It has also earned the title, "Poultry
Capital of the World" and celebrates its poultry industry every June during their annual
Poultry Days Festival.
