Tanya Coby is the Integrated Marketing Manager for Midmark’s medical business and has been with Midmark for 23 years. She describes Midmark’s focus on bringing products and technology together to help solve problems for patients and caregivers, transforming healthcare experiences. Will Bailey has been with Midmark for nearly 12 years and is proud to say he has found his forever job. After much training, he is classified as a Weld Engineering Technician. Leah Knapke began working for Midmark as an Associate Product Manager and is now a Senior Product Manager in Versailles, Ohio. Leah enjoys the cross-collaboration at Midmark with Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations and other areas to ensure delivery of our products gets done on time. She enjoys engaging with our customers, spending time with them in the Midmark Experience Center and developing products to support the point of care experience. Leah describes the Midmark culture as collaborative, caring and fun with a focus on not only growing the company, but growing our teammates.
Karen Roman-Sanchez began working for Midmark as an intern at our Irvine, California, facility in 2019. Midmark gave Karen opportunities as an intern, inspiring her to work at Midmark full-time. Karen describes the Midmark culture as welcoming and diverse. She shared that she was not viewed as just the intern at the office; she was “Karen, the Design Engineer.” Every day, Karen designs detailed spaces and puts strategy into how the designs will affect patients and caregivers. Her peers nominated her to attend the Professional Women in Healthcare (PWH) Leadership Summit this year, which displays the respect Karen has earned in her profession by the teammates surrounding her. Karen details how she feels the impact of her job firsthand. She is inspired by Midmark, the people and her work.
Nick Hyde is the Production Manager in Assembly at our Carthage, Missouri, location. He joined Midmark in 2020, and during his time here, he has held several roles. He now oversees various departments and team leads. Nick talks about the respected work environment at Carthage, saying, “It is like a family atmosphere. Working with people every day make teammates like family because challenges are being faced together.” Midmark strives to advance their teammates, and Nick helps do that every day.
Matt Magoto began working for Midmark in 2009 as a Manufacturing Engineer. Throughout his career, he had the opportunity to grow and move into various roles. He is now the Sustaining Engineering Manager for all Midmark business units. He previously led the co-op program efforts to bring college-level students into the engineering field to develop that pipeline of teammates. Matt shares his beliefs about how you can check all the boxes at Midmark when you think about what you want to accomplish in your career.
Chuck Bretz is the Plant Manager at our Kansas City, Kansas, facility. He began working for Midmark in Versailles, Ohio, in 2004, and within the past 19 years, he had the opportunity to work in six different roles. Chuck admires the culture at Midmark and, for 18 years, drove 100 miles each day to work here. He spends most of his time on the production floor, engaging with teammates and ensuring they have the tools to do their job. He appreciates the professional development provided at Midmark to gain experience in areas where you want to grow.
