Capnography, the measurement of carbon dioxide in a patient’s breath, provides a whole picture of the respiratory process, including metabolism, circulation and ventilation.
Changes in the CO2 waveform provide the earliest indication of ventilation variances due to anesthetic complications.

Plug-and-play CAPNOSTAT® 5 Mainstream and LOFLO™ Sidestream CO2 sensors easily connect to the Midmark Multiparameter Monitor to monitor capnography. The mainstream sensor takes a reading right at the endotracheal tube and breathing circuit, while the sidestream sensor pulls a 50 ml sample of breath to the side module for reading. Both sensors provide reliable and accurate measurements.
