Active Ventilation for Comfort Suites
The Association of Shelter Veterinarians Guidelines emphasize that air quality is a foundational requirement for animal health, stress reduction and disease prevention. Active ventilation directly supports this by continuously removing warm, contaminated air and replacing it with fresh airflow. For cats—who rely heavily on scent to feel secure—this steady exchange reduces odor, lowers stress and helps support respiratory health so they can relax and thrive.
Functions as a passive system when not attached to customer-provided HVAC.
Fits snugly in place using magnets, allowing quick removal for cleaning.
Offered for litter unit only on the left or right corner.
ACTIVE VENTILATION
• Attaches to a standard 4" diameter active
ventilation system; circulates air using
facility-provided HVAC exhaust (suction)
and electrical power
• Uses onsite hookup to customer or
facility-provided HVAC exhaust and
electrical service.
• Available only for configurations with
solid backs.
• Cannot be used on mobile bases when
connected to onsite HVAC hookups.
VENTS
• The tall ventilation unit is positioned in
the upper rear corner, minimizing impact
on usable space due to the angled panel.
• A daisy-style vent at the top of the
ventilation system captures rising warm air
and directs it into the exhaust system.
