New facility will serve as central hub for diagnostics and IoT solutions, expanding Midmark’s innovation footprint in Ohio and creating new opportunities for engineering and technology talent in the region
VERSAILLES, Ohio, Dec. 8, 2025 — Midmark Corp., a leader in designing seamless clinical care experiences that millions of medical, dental and veterinary visits depend on every day, today announced plans to open a new technology and business center in Cincinnati, Ohio, that will serve as the central hub for the company’s medical diagnostics and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, including Smart View, its digital planning and design solution at the point of care.
Located at 9987 Carver Road, Suite 340, in Blue Ash, the new Midmark facility will bring together diagnostics and connected solutions development teams, along with upstream marketing and support functions, in a single, modern space designed to harmonize technology, workflow and collaboration. The site will focus on advancing Midmark’s digital diagnostics portfolio.
“As healthcare providers rely more on digital diagnostics and connected solutions to deliver timely, accurate care, we see tremendous opportunity to invest in innovation that supports them at the point of care,” said Shawn Ashcraft, vice president, information technology for Midmark. This new innovation hub extends our Ohio footprint and gives our teams a dedicated environment to design the next generation of diagnostic solutions that integrate space, technology and clinical workflow.”
Midmark selected the Cincinnati region for its strong med-tech ecosystem and deep engineering talent. The area is home to one of the largest technology and engineering talent pools in Ohio, with a growing pipeline of new graduates and a notable concentration of medical device companies. The Blue Ash location also keeps teams within reach of Midmark’s Versailles, Ohio, headquarters and its largest innovation hub and manufacturing operations, allowing them to take advantage of existing facilities and expertise.
The new site will feature flexible workspaces and collaboration areas aligned with Midmark’s facilities standards, providing the technical infrastructure required for software development, systems engineering and testing.
As a teammate-focused environment, Cincinnati offers access to a range of nearby amenities, including Landings Park and Summit Park, reservable large conference rooms, a fitness center, covered parking and convenient proximity to restaurants, retail and hotels—all accessible by car, bike or on foot.
“The Cincinnati location is a direct extension of our Versailles innovation hub,” Ashcraft added. “Together, these locations will help us carry forward more than 110 years of design and manufacturing expertise as we grow our diagnostics and Smart View solutions for customers in Ohio and across the country.”
Midmark will begin welcoming teammates to the new site with internal activities in early 2026 and is expected to open in February 2026.
Midmark is actively recruiting talent for its Cincinnati innovation hub, including roles in engineering, product management, information technology and other functions. Interested candidates can learn more and view open positions at midmark.com/careers.
