Midmark enhances Synthesis Cabinetry Collection with new color palette

VERSAILLES, Ohio, June 30, 2026 — Midmark Corp., a leading medical solutions provider focused on the design of the clinical environment to improve the delivery of care, today introduced fresh new color options to the Synthesis Cabinetry Collection that bring warm, modern natural elements to the Midmark selection of clinical-grade cabinetry finishes.

Supported by feedback from architects, interior designers and healthcare providers, the new color palette offers a cabinetry selection of woodgrains, solids and metallics, engineered specifically to withstand the rigor of healthcare environments. As healthcare design evolves, providers increasingly look for design choices that mirror their modern architecture and workflow designs.

The new colors include nine finishes that feature nature-inspired woodgrains, such as Sandbar, Prairie and Oat, alongside clean solids like Fog, and sleek metallics like Flat Iron and Venus Silver. Grounded in evidence-based design, these finishes allow providers to embrace environments that use warmth, texture and cohesion to evoke calm, strength and resilience.

“At Midmark, we recognize the important role color plays in healthcare design and patient comfort. Color, texture and tone have the power to evoke emotion. Whether calm and quiet or bold and energizing, design elements can affect how a space feels and influence the patient care experience,” said Tracy Timmerman, EDAC, director of marketing at Midmark. “Aesthetic design choices can help enhance patient well-being, reduce anxiety and support healing.”

Research supports this approach, showing that soft, cool tones (blues, greens and teals), muted neutrals (soft grays and beige) and natural wood finishes, like those featured in the new Midmark collection, can improve patient mood, reduce physiological stress indicators, such as heart rate and blood pressure, and enhance overall patient and staff satisfaction.

At the Midmark Design Center, experts work closely with customers to ensure the right color selection across upholstery and cabinetry options to complement the look, feel and intended function of the space. For more information, visit Midmark Design Resources.
