Midmark Donation Expands Veterinary Care and Training at SICSA
VERSAILLES, Ohio, Oct. 1, 2026 — Midmark Corp., a leader in designing seamless clinical care experiences that millions of medical, dental and veterinary visits depend on every day, recently donated gently used equipment from its Experience Center to SICSA Pet Adoption and Wellness Center, a nonprofit organization in Dayton, Ohio, giving the equipment new life while supporting veterinary care for animals awaiting adoption.
The donation includes dental equipment and two multiparameter monitors, allowing SICSA to double its patient monitoring capacity and expand dental care. The equipment also provides hands-on learning opportunities for future veterinary professionals.
“Midmark is proud to support organizations like SICSA that make a meaningful difference in the communities where our teammates live and work,” said Mitch Eiting, global philanthropic and corporate giving manager. “Giving this equipment new life allows us to support the health and well-being of animals as they prepare for adoption while also investing in the next generation of veterinary professionals.”

Midmark Teammates joined SICSA president and CEO Jack Omer at the organization’s Sunrise fundraising breakfast on Sept. 24, 2026. Midmark recently donated dental and patient monitoring equipment to help SICSA expand veterinary care for animals awaiting adoption.

SICSA provides adoption, veterinary care and other services to animals and families throughout the Greater Dayton community. In 2025, the organization facilitated 2,478 adoptions and placements and provided 10,585 medical exams for family-owned pets and animals in SICSA’s care. Its veterinary team also performed 7,228 spay and neuter procedures for owned and adoptable pets.
The donated Midmark equipment is already being used by SICSA’s veterinary team, including during dental procedures. Veterinary and registered veterinary technician students from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, Lincoln Memorial University and Sinclair Community College’s Veterinary Technology program will also have opportunities to train with the equipment alongside SICSA’s veterinary team.
“Having access to this equipment strengthens the care we can provide to animals while also creating meaningful learning experiences for veterinary and RVT students working alongside our team,” said Jack Omer, president and CEO of SICSA Pet Adoption and Wellness Center. “We’re incredibly grateful to Midmark for this donation and for its commitment to helping us make a difference for the animals and families we serve.”
The equipment donation is part of a growing relationship between Midmark and SICSA, with both organizations sharing expertise and exploring ways to collaborate to improve care for animals.
Midmark Teammates recently joined SICSA leaders and community supporters at the organization’s Sunrise fundraising breakfast, which raises awareness and support for SICSA’s work in the Dayton community.
