This article describes the Holter security key by its uses and what it looks like.
What the Holter security key does:
The Holter security key allows the computer it is connected to the ability to download, reanalyze, and edit holter recordings through the IQmark Diagnostic Workstation, IQmark Centricity Interface, or integrated EMR. Without the security key the user is unable to download the Holter recordings from the CF card. The Holter security key, through the use of the Network Security Server application, will also allow all computers that are on the network and have IQmark Diagnostic Workstation, IQmark Centricity Interface, or an integrated EMR (if implemented) the ability to edit the Holter full dislcosure.

The Holter security key can look like one of the following varieties.
Parallel security key.
USB security key (black)
USB security key (purple)
