Program brings energy in-house from national Professional Women in Healthcare annual summit for Midmark Teammates while supporting local Clothes That Work organization

VERSAILLES, Ohio — Oct. 17, 2025 — Midmark Corp., a leader in designing seamless clinical care experiences that millions of medical, dental and veterinary visits depend on every day, recently hosted the Professional Women in Healthcare (PWH) Leadership Experience: Midmark Summit, a purpose-built one-day event created by Midmark’s internal PWH committee. The program welcomed primarily Midmark PWH members and leadership, with guests from The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, for a full day centered on the theme “Connect. Empower. Lead.”

Midmark has been a longstanding supporter of PWH since its inception in 2004. Dr. Anne Eiting Klamar, chair of the board for Midmark, co-founded the organization, and Midmark is a corporate partner and sponsor of the national PWH annual summit.

“We’re grateful to Anne for her leadership with PWH and for a partnership that opens doors by bringing programs and connections into our teammates’ day-to-day work. These opportunities foster mentorship, provide skill enhancement and bring the support of a professional community, generating real career momentum,” said Jennifer Ramsey, senior engineering manager and Midmark PWH committee chair.

The summit opened with Dr. Klamar’s “Leading with Purpose,” followed by the keynote “Own Your Voice. Share Your Power.” delivered by Rachelle Ferrara, senior vice president at Foundever and past chair of PWH, with brand-messaging strategist and improv coach Jill Pavlov. Attendees then rotated through three interactive sessions—"Unapologetically You,” “Influence with Impact” and “Resilient Together”—focused on authentic leadership, organizational savvy and peer-supported resilience. An afternoon panel connected these themes to real-world execution across strategy, people development, customer experience and visibility—making teams’ work and wins easier to see across the organization.

Attendees also connected via speed-networking where they traded introductions and shared favorite books, podcasts and growth resources. Conversations continued over lunch and wrapped at Silas Creative Kitchen at Hotel Versailles, keeping the ideas and new connections flowing.

In keeping with the day’s purpose-in-action mindset, the “Styled to Lead: Power Jacket Exchange” invited attendees to donate a professional jacket and select one with a new story—extending confidence to one another and to the community. Remaining jackets and clothing were donated to Clothes That Work in Kettering, Ohio, which equips job seekers with attire and readiness support.

“This program blended leadership development with community impact—from hands-on learning to the jacket exchange—and reflects our commitment to growing people and supporting our neighbors,” said Amanda Hendry, chief people officer at Midmark. “The day strengthened confidence and capability across our teams, which ultimately improves the experience we deliver to customers and partners.”
